چکیده
The present study, was conducted to investigate the effect of crude Alkaloids, Flavonoids, and Terpenoids compounds extract from roots (Saussurea costus) against Candida species isolated different clinical samples such as mouth vagina in province Babil 2021 Iraq. Anticandidal activity achieved vitro by using agar well diffusion method preparing three concentrations for each compound (25, 50, 100) mg/ml compared positive control represented Fluconazole 50mg/ml negative 10% dimethyl sulfoxide. aim this study secondary metabolites extracted seeds Carthamus tinctorius L. data collected revealed that, showed reduction at P≤ 0.05 growth especially 100mg/ml with control. Finally, it can be concluded that Saussurea costus is most effective controlling species, Terpenoid Alkaloids compounds.
